The best thing you can do to set yourself up for a long and healthy marriage is talk with a certified counselor.  We require this because we believe it is that important! You will take online testing that shows strengths and growth areas. The counseling takes seven sessions on average. The fee for the testing and counseling is $300. After Pre-Marital counseling is complete and you want Iron ridge to perform the ceremony, the lead pastor will assist with layout and options concerning your wedding in whatever capacity you would like. The lead pastor has order of service, ideas and years of experience to help determine exactly how you would like your wedding to play out.

Iron Ridge's Building is available to be used for the wedding as long as there is no scheduling conflicts with normal church activities. There is a $250 deposit for building usage needed in advance. The deposit will be returned in full if there is no building repair or excessive cleanup needed. The church can seat 250 people with overflow in the lobby and a screen that will display the wedding.

If you are having a wedding on location, there is no travel fee if the wedding is within 30 minutes of Waukon. The lead pastor may make personal exceptions for travel.

If you would like to use any of the tech within Iron Ridge (microphones, projection screens, etc.) an Iron Ridge approved tech will be required. They are $50/hr and generally work for 3hrs, this includes setup, operation during the wedding and shutdown.

We have Spotify available for general music usage, wireless mics, large projection screens for video and pictures and hook-ups for musicians you may have. The service can also be recorded in a basic style if you would like!

If you have taken Pre-marital counseling and want the lead pastor to Officiate he would be happy to assist you! Officiating includes wedding layout assistance, the wedding rehearsal and the wedding day. You are responsible for filling for your wedding license and making it available to be signed.

Having the lead pastor officiate your wedding is $500 due by the day of the wedding.
